Long Term Update 5: 2010 Buick LaCrosse

At a club in Los Angeles with his wife, senior editor Jonny Lieberman had a shocking experience. "We parked at a lot on the corner of Hollywood and Vine, catty-corner from the Capital Records building. As I handed the car over to the valet -- a guy who, night after night, week after week, parks Benzes and Porsches and Astons and Italian cars -- says to me, 'Nice car.' And he meant it.

This guy thought the Buick Lacrosse is a car worth mentioning. Then, while we were leaving the club, the valet pulled the BUICK LACROSSE up and a very smartly dressed woman saw it and said, 'Whoa -- beautiful.' Buick has come a long way from being bland and forgettable." Senior editor Matt Stone logs: "Nice freeway and 'two-couples' cruiser. Wonder how much we'd like a standard engined, less lavishly equipped model."
